Molly McPherson is a veteran communications, media relations and public relations expert from the Boston area. Her wheelhouse is the area of crisis response in the age of digital communications. She’s also the host of the Confident Communications Podcast, which should be required listening for anyone working in the corporate communications profession.

I became aware of Molly via Twitter over the past year and it soon became clear that we had similar views on matters of corporate communications and crisis response/crisis management. This was a fun conversation that really flew by. We talked about why smart people make poor decisions when responding to crisis situations, we riffed on a number of high-profile crises of the past and offered our insights on how they were handled and we chatted about how Molly ended up starting her own business. It was a story that I don’t think she has told publicly before.

Thanks once again to Molly for her time and for sharing her expertise. She’s definitely someone I’d love to have back on in 2021.
